Dr. Surekha completed her Doctorate in Literature from Manasa Gangotri, Mysore University, in the year 2004. She has authored several books on Poetry and Literature. Her core interests include reading, writing articles on literature, and helping people realize their true selves. She is married to Mr. Chandrashekar, a civil engineer by profession, and they are blessed with two sons.

She has been honored with the National Poetry Festival Award by the Trivarna Foundation and the Creativity & Culture Commission of Andhra Pradesh for her relentless contributions to social causes, including healing, meditation and the holistic upliftment of society.
